How to access Akbank Internet

Access Akbank Internet either by using your customer number or your Akbank credit card information.

Once you have logged in, find out which types of transactions you can carry out by clicking on the Transactions tab.

When you log in with your customer number:
  • The first screen will ask you to enter your customer number and Akbank Internet password.
  • If this your first time logging in to Akbank Internet, use​ your surname as your username and the password previously sent to your mobile phone as your Akbank Direkt Password.
  • When you click OK, an input field will open. Enter the MobilePass that was sent to your mobile phone, and click the Confirm button.
  • You should now be in the Akbank Internet system. If logging in for the first time, you will be asked to change your Username and Akbank Internet Password to ensure greater security.
  • After making these changes, begin conducting your banking transactions.
  • When you log in subsequently, your User Code will no longer be required, unless incorrect log in attempts are made. Following a failed log in attempt, the User Code will be requested again as an additional security measure.
When you log in with your credit card information:
  • The first screen will ask you to enter your credit card number, security code and the credit card expiration date.
  • After clicking on the Log in button, fill in your credit card password as requested in the provided boxes, and then click on the Confirm button.
  • Type the MobilePass sent to your mobile phone in the field provided. Click Continue to view your credit card information on Akbank Internet.
​Transfer money through Akbank with no hassle

With Akbank Internet, you can transfer money simply by entering the recipient’s mobile phone number.

The recipient can withdraw the transferred amount from any Akbank ATM even if he/she does not have an Akbank account.

The Money Transfer to Mobile feature allows you to seamlessly transfer money to another Akbank account, though the recipient must be an Akbank Haberci member or have an Akbank Password Phone in this case.

Withdrawing money sent to an Akbank ATM:
  • Once your transaction is complete, a reference code will be sent by SMS to the recipient’s mobile. The SMS message will not reveal the amount of money sent.
  • The recipient can then go to the nearest Akbank ATM, even if he or she has no Akbank card. The recipient will then press the Enter button, select the Cardless Withdrawal option and withdraw the money by entering the "reference number" and "amount."
  • If the transferred amount is not withdrawn within 24 hours, or if the recipient makes three consecutive failed attempts to withdraw the funds by entering an incorrect amount or reference number, the transferred amount, as well as the transaction fee, will be returned to the sender’s account.
  • Any cancellation of the transfer of money to an ATM must be done within the first 24 hours of the transfer’s initiation and can be performed by selecting the "Cancel Money Transfer" option on Akbank Internet.

You will never be asked for your Akbank Password and Mobile Password. If someone calls, claiming to be from the bank and says,"A transaction was made from your account/card. If you're unaware of it, we will correct it," and asks for your Akbank Password and Mobile Password, end the call without sharing any information and contact the Phone Branch at 444 25 25 / 0850 222 25 25.
