​Online Shopping

Akbank Card, the prudent debit card at shopping, is with you also for your online shopping! With Akbank Card, you can securely do shopping on all domestic e-commerce websites by setting a daily online limit to your card. By setting “Online Shopping Restrictions”, you can allow online shopping only on the websites supporting 3D Secure Payment.

Your Consent is Required to Continue Doing Secure Online Shopping with Akbank Card

In accordance with the legal requirements by Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, you must give approval in order to do online shopping after December 31, 2017 with your personal credit cards and debit cards as well as the supplementary cards.
In order to continue doing online shopping, you can give approval:
  • By texting and sending "INTERNET" to 8885 for all your personal cards, or
  • By texting "INTERNET", leaving a space, and typing the last 4 digits of your card and sending it to 8885 for a specific card, or
  • By calling 444 25 25 for all your cards or a specific one, or
  • Via the Credit Cards menu at Akbank Internet for all your cards or your desired cards. You can change your preferences later on via the Credit Cards menu at Akbank Internet, Akbank Mobile, our Call Center or Akbank Branches.

What is 3D Secure?

3D Secure is a system developed by Visa and MasterCard to enhance the security of online shopping made by debit or credit card. For the online transactions made by debit or personal credit card, you can choose to pay through 3D Secure and you can finalize your transactions more securely with the SMS verification code sent to your mobile phone.
As Akbank, we recommend that you use 3D Secure for the purpose of increasing your security in transactions you have made online by debit or personal credit card.
In case your 3D Secure code is requested by third parties, you can contact us by calling Akbank Telephone Branch at 444 25 25.

Overseas

In countries accepting payment by debit cards, you can use your Akbank Card with Akbank Card password. When you need cash, you can withdraw money from your account, to which your Akbank Card is connected, at any bank ATM.
If your card has the TROY logo, it can be used domestically.

Installment Purchase​

With Akbank Card, split your purchases into installments and make your payments easily. With Akbank Card, you can split your purchases of TRY 50 and above made at Axess loyalty merchants into installments. Your installment purchases with Akbank Card are made from your Overdraft limit of your drawing account to which your Akbank Card is connected, even if you have sufficient amount in your account. Your installment purchases made are subject to the Overdraft usage interests and commissions.

Limit

You can determine the transaction limits of your Akbank Card. By logging in to Akbank Internet, you can increase the daily domestic/international purchase and money withdrawal limits of your Akbank Card to the maximum limit.

SSI Premium Payment

You can pay your SSI premiums with Akbank Card without any commission fees through the Premium Payment with Card option on www.sgk.gov.tr.

Akbank Messenger

Akbank Messenger keeps track of the transactions in your card or account for you, and notifies you via SMS or e-mail! Via Akbank Internet, you can define your Akbank Messenger settings as you wish.

Priority at the Branch

While you take a queue number at Akbank Branches, you can use your Akbank Card and enjoy the fast track privilege.

ATM

With your Akbank Card, you can access your account at Akbank ATMs, meet your cash needs, and easily make your banking transactions without having to visit the branch.

Automatic Utility Payment Orders

You can place an Automatic Utility Payment Order with your AkbanK Card for your telephone, water, electricity, natural gas and internet bills by calling Akbank Telephone Branch at 444 25 25 or by visiting our branches.

Akbank Card

With Akbank Card, you can make purchases in Turkey, abroad and online by using your card password and you can withdraw cash in Turkey and abroad. The purchase and cash amounts are instantly deducted from your demand deposit account to which your Akbank Card is connected.

Akbank Card 1e1

It is a debit card specific to our 1e1 customers. The purchase and cash withdrawal limits of your card with all Akbank Card features are special for you.

Akbank Card for Private banking customers

It is for our Private Banking customers. Your Akbank Card with all the privileges of Akbank Card offers cash withdrawal and purchase limits special for you.

Akbank Card for Business

It is a debit card by which companies can make purchases in Turkey and abroad, make cash withdrawals and deposit money to company accounts. You can determine the daily cash withdrawal and purchase limits for your employees who use Akbank Card at your company, and you can limit their Akbank Card usage if you wish. You can follow the transactions made by your employees through Akbank Internet. The purchase and cash amounts of your company are instantly deducted from your company account to which Akbank Card is connected.

Akbank Card Supplementary Card

You can give a " Akbank Card Supplementary Card" to your spouse, children and all your loved ones. When you request a supplementary card, a supplementary card account connected to your demand deposit or Nar account is opened and your card is connected to such account. You can send money of any amount at any time to your supplementary card on a weekly or monthly basis, and determine the limit of the supplementary card. All you need to do is to determine the amount of payment and dates of payment.
